18k Gold Customised Cartouche
It is finally here! In Aldebaran we now offer an option for you to customise your own Cartouche pendant with your or any name on it. The name is translated into the hieroglyphics and added onto the pendant. The price of the pendant depends on the amount of letters you choose to customise.
This Cartouche pendant is a symbol of protection in the Afterlife. The word Cartouche means bullet in French, and was named after Napoleon’s army occupied Egypt and the French soldiers thought the shape looks like a bullet from the gun. The original name of the Cartouche symbol was “shen” which means oval in the Ancient Egyptian language. The oval symbolised a rope that was tied down the bottom and had a name of its owner, usually a pharaoh or a high priest, in the middle of it. These symbols were drawn everywhere on the pharaoh’s tomb as well as the building they were buried in to protect his/her soul in the afterlife.
The Cartouche pendant is perfect to be stacked together with another smaller amulet to emphasise its potency, such as an Evil Eye or anything else you might resonate with.
Feel free to choose whatever chain you feel would be best for it from our selection. If you don’t find the pattern in the particular length you’re looking for, drop us a message and we’re happy to source you one to be shipped together with your pendant.
After you place the order, you will receive an e-mail with the final confirmation of your design together with arranging any further customisations.
